A woodland cottage: on the window sill, crisp maple pecan danishes, baked apple, and a splash of warm milk.
Folklore Candle Company creates small-batch candles hand-poured in their Canadian studio with hand-blended bespoke fragrances, paraffin-free soy wax, and a lead-free cotton wick. Their candles are vegan, paraben-free, and phthalate-free. Burn time approx. 50+ hours (10oz).
Size: Each candle has an approximate diameter of 8.5 cm (3.35 inches), and is 10 cm (3.94 inches) tall, including the wooden cover.
For ideal burn: Be sure to trim the wick before lighting. Your wick should between around 1/4”. You can use our matte black wick trimmer, or sharp scissors to trim away the blackened wick. If your flame is flickering excessively, or too high, or if the flame is smoking, your wick should be trimmed. Always burn until the wax of the surface is melted from edge to edge— this will prevent tunnelling and extend the life of your candle. Do not burn for more than 4 hours. Always burn on a heat-resistant surface and never leave unattended.
Reusing your jar: The best thing about soy wax (besides the extra-long clean burn) is how easy it is to remove from its container. No need to awkwardly heat and try to pour and scrape the wax out of the jar— simply wash out with dish soap and warm water and fill with all the weird and wonderful things that need collecting (paintbrushes, pens, succulents— you name it).
